External Hard Drive Warranty

KINGMAX guarantees that all series of digital-storage products will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. KINGMAX will repair parts of the product or replace product that is covered under warranty in the event of defects in materials or workmanship. The above declaration does not apply to product with damage attributed to accident, misuse, mishandling or unauthorized opening, repair or modification of KINGMAX product, or to 
product proven not to have originated in KINGMAX factories.

Duration of Warranty:
3-years Warranty: 2.5” External Hard Drive

Scope of Warranty:
Warranty policy is only applicable to the hardware; KINGMAX does not warrant against the loss of pre-installed software, data or images and assumes no liability for such loss. Please backup these contents in another device before sending the defective product for repair, as all contents will be erased.

1. Repair Service at No Cost: An external hard drive product that has any defect in materials and workmanship, provided 
that there is no damage on the exterior and the warranty label is intact. 
2. Exclusions to Warranty Coverage: 
Damage due to misuse or product without an intact warranty label will not be eligible for repair.
Products determined by the service center to be counterfeit (not original products of KINGMAX) will not be eligible 
for repair.
